NEW COUCH
I said I would post a picture of my new couch and here it is! I saw on some one's blog that they scored on Craig's list...I have not ever bought anything on Craig's list but my daughter has...so I thought, "I can do Craig's list!" The gal who lives 15 miles from here had two identical couches. I called my friend who was also looking for a couch. We met and each of us bought one for $300.00 SCORE!
The end table was at a shop called, Real Deals which is only opened two days a week...It was half off. The top lifts up for storage and the basket came with it. The bottom is cast iron legs so very heavy. What do you think I paid for it? $47.00!!! Boy do I love a deal!

My daughter decorated her apartment from Craig's List. Yes, I'd say you scored. Your quilt looks lovely on the new couch.
That couch is an amazing craig's list find!!! I got our couch and chair off of there too, as well as a really nice red hutch that is in our sons room. It's amazing how much the couch you found is like the ones you were looking at! Sadly, craig's list in this area barely exists. There isn't ever anything for sale, so sometimes I look up east Idaho just to see what is being sold there!
Real Deals is a fabulous store! I've never been to the one in Rexburg, but have been to the Idaho Falls and Pocatello ones. I liked Pocatello's store best, so if you're ever there you might want to check it out. Oh, and Bountiful has a good one too!

Your space is lovely. I worry about getting anything upholstered off of Craig's list only because I've heard a few icky stories....the like of fleas!
I truly do love your new couch. Looks great. Nice lines & color. But I also love the quilts you have displayed. Overall appearance is excellent. Can you come decorate my home?

Quilt Hollow, you can kind of tell about the place and the people, in terms of getting a 'surprise' with your upholstered items. But you never know, I suppose!

oh that is so pretty - but may I ask you something... please stop using the ugly word of "couch" and use sofa instead ;) I use to sell furniture and sofa is a more pleasing word to use than couch... that makes my ears hurt just typing that ;)
